We see God creating a Church like that described in the book of Acts: that is, a Church that is a vital Christian community, where we live the life of the early Church.
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles.”
2nd Acts 42-43
We endeavour to:
- Worship in a way that honors God and draws others to Him.
- Be a community that seeks, loves and wins people who are far from God
- Be a community where absolutely anyone can find healing, meaningful friendships, and purpose for life through Christ
- Be a community where people grow in maturity in Christ through Biblical teaching and discipleship
- Be a community where each person can discover and develop their God-given gifts, talents, and passion for ministry, and find a satisfying and effective place to serve.
We love Jesus. We love our neighbors. We make disciples that make other disciples. We change lives and communities through the love of Christ.
Our Strategy
Worship
Commit to weekly worship services. Stay close to the Lord through prayer, singing, and giving.
Growing
Commit to a weekly study group. Develop spiritual discipline and maturity through daily Bible reading, prayer, and fasting. Strive to become more Christ-like. Learn to develop our spiritual gifts and strengthen our spiritual muscles through accountability relationships, mentoring, and retreats.
Serving
Commit to serve in and from the Church of the Trinity. Use time, talents, and treasure to reflect Christ’s love to the people in our family, work, school, and community. Lead others to Christ by our love and verbal witness, and to train them to reach others.
